Double Twisted Apricot - ChapaNamak

Twisted Apricots, also known as rolled apricots (also called Chapanamak), are primarily grown in Afghanistan and is considered to be a specialty fruit because of the way it is prepared.

The notable characteristics that set this product apart from other dried apricots are its small size and shape, but the main feature that sets it apart from other apricots is that it's dried right on the tree. This variety of apricot may seem very dry, but it is packed with an exquisite flavor and sweetness.

Traditionally they are used as part of Afghan new Year celebrations.
