Jasmine Rice

Resplendent, delicious, and full of aromatic appeal, jasmine rice is a versatile seed used in a wide variety of meals. Fine and long, jasmine rice is starkly white and has a somewhat sticky surface. The fragrance contained within is sweet and sometimes popcorn-like.

The rice can be prepared in many ways: quickly boiled with less water for firmness, or slowly simmered with more water for stickiness. When steamed, it can be used for grilled or braised meals, and serves as an excellent addition to stir-fries. And as always, jasmine rice remains a favorite in curries and stews.
