Jiaogulan is a flowering vine in the Cucurbitaceae family, more commonly known as the gourd family, which makes it related to zucchini, pumpkin, cucumber, and squash. Jiaogulan powder made from dried leaves is added to cooked foods, smoothies, herbal tea blends, and tonics. Topically, jiaogulan powder is incorporated into soaps, lotions, and other cosmetic preparations.
