Boswellia Serrata Pieces

Size

Boswellia serrata is a shrubby tree native to the Middle East that yields a resin commonly known as Indian frankincense.

The dried resin "tears" are burned over charcoal-like incense.

In the arid mountains of India, Boswellia grows into a large tree with branches. The trunk of the tree produces a gummy substance called oleoresin when tapped. This substance is then purified and the extract is used for herbal medicines.
