Jamaican Dogwood Bark, scientifically known as Piscidia piscipula, is a plant native to the Caribbean region, particularly Jamaica, where it thrives in tropical climates. 

The bark has a distinct reddish-brown coloration and a rough, textured surface. When dried, it becomes brittle and can be easily ground into a fine powder or used in decoctions and infusions.
