Dried Shallots - Moseer

Size
Dried Garlic Shallots (Moseer) are an Asian species of Garlic native to central and southwestern Asia. They grow in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

Buyers will often soak the shallots for a number of days then boil them to obtain a milder flavour. They are often crushed and mixed with yogurt. Iranians enjoy yogurt in this way, especially in restaurants and kebab-saras where just kebabs are served.

This place is a gem!

Their website offers which a variety of items- dont stop scrolling- you might miss something yummy! I am loving the kona espresso beans and butter toffee peanuts.
I placed an order & received it several days later. The personalized packaging and personalized labels was such a sweet touch. There was an issue with my order but the owner and employees rectified the situation and couldnt have been any nicer. Truly wish all businesses ran this way. No fuss no headaches or chasing. Kudos to NY spice shop!

Very authentic

If you soak it in water drain and pickle in vinegar., you're creating an excellent condiment
