Wild Cherry Bark - Cut & Sifted

Size

Originating in the United States, wild cherry is species of a tree closely related to the apricot, peach, and almond. Red, hearty, and with a wafting almond-Esque aroma, the bark of the wild cherry has classic renown in various usages. Soothing and delicious, the bark may be used to create syrups and teas.

Famously, cough syrups worldwide are flavored by it. However, its robust appearance belies a sensitive taste and texture. To maintain the compounds within, wild cherry bark must only be steeped in hot water, never boiled.
