Apricot kernels (also known as apricot seeds) apricot kernel is the seed from the inside the apricot stone. It is obtained by cracking open and removing the hard stone shell. They resemble almonds and have a mild and slightly sweet taste.
Apricot kernels (seeds) are similar in appearance to a small almond. Fresh apricot kernels are white. The skin becomes light brown when dried out.
These are not the bitter apricot kernels, although each batch may contain a few bitter-tasting kernels.
