why the shells?
I thought the shells were off the pistachios, but I was sent pistachios shielded

This is my personal and honest review. My first impression of the "Pomegranate Jelly Fruit Slices" has some flaws but still good. The product was delivered safely and well-packaged, with layers of food-grade paper, and the items were organized neatly. However, I noticed that the sugar-coated crystals on the fruit slices were partially melted and most of them are on the food graded paper. As someone who doesn't like to waste food, I made sure to scrape up the sugar to save it for later. While this isn’t the shop's fault, considering that shipping from New York to Florida can be challenging due to the heat, the fruit slices were not damaged.
Now, moving on to why I gave a 4-star rating despite some flaws: these fruit slices tasted absolutely delicious! Even though most of the sugar melted into the candies, they still had a sweet and fruity flavor. Noticeably freshly handmade given by dozen of imperfect shapes, I found these to be far superior to Boston fruit slices, which I had been enjoying occasionally for fair amount of decades. The NY shop's fruit slices are definitely much better! I’m looking forward to trying the assorted fruit slice flavors in the future. The prices are justified given the quality of these tasty treats and how much they gave you. Will definitely buy more!

The "Mega Fruit Gumballs" were way bigger than I thought they would be. I can't even get it in my mouth. I feel like I wasted my money on 3 bags of them. 😢
These are the best fruit slices because they are soft and juicy with great flavor!
