Cumin Seeds (Jira or Zeera)

Cumin Seeds are also known as “Jira” or “zeera” in the Indian subcontinent region and in Sanskrit. Cumin seeds are a part of the parsley family. These seeds are dull brownish in color and are bitter earthy in taste. Cumin seeds are widely used in whole or ground form in many culinary dishes around the world. These seeds are easily grounded without any hurdle in the grinding machine. Cumin seeds comprise fiber, iron, magnesium, and calcium thus aids in digestion, accelerate the immune system and helps to cure the skin acne as it has vitamin E and Vitamin C. These seeds are used as a spice in vegetable soups, Basmati Rice, pickles, steamed chicken and stews. Cumin seeds powder can be used with our special Red Chili flakes to flambé the varieties of Dal and to impart a tempting aromatic flavor. Nevertheless, it is used in buttermilk preparation in some territories and also use to add as a whole in salty cookies and breads worldwide.

Nice products, long shipping prep.

Good products and even nice personal touch. My only complaint is that it took over a week for them to just ship they’re products. I receive spices from Amazon next day or 2nd day.
