A large part of the local almond varieties in Bostanlyk has been obtained using natural selection, starting from local shapes originating from seeds.

The almonds are an integral part of the village life in Brichmulla and Khumsan, located in Bostanlyk. The locals use them in the preparation of both sweets and baked goods for therapeutic purposes. This almond variety is easy to shell, making it convenient to use raw.

Whole almonds can be enjoyed by combining them with other nuts or dried fruits. They are also delicious as snacks, dessert toppings, or added to trail mix.
